When you make a booking request, your payment information will be collected. Then once your booking request is accepted by the host, you will be charged the whole amount at this time.
No matter how much time until your trip starts, we will hold your payment until 48 hours after you check-out before transferring it to the host. This is to ensure that both the host and the guest have time to make sure everything is as expected.
Changing the payment method
If you haven't heard back from the host regarding your booking request, you can cancel your booking request and make another one with a different payment method.
However, once your booking request is confirmed, there is no way to change your payment method.
